Tuscaloosa Circuit Court Judge Daniel Pruet has denied Charles Bediako’s request for a temporary injunction in his lawsuit against the NCAA, finding that the NCAA has consistently applied the specific part of the rule that renders a player ineligible if he plays in college, declares for the NBA Draft and fails to withdraw by the deadline. Alabama released the following statement:

The 7-foot center appeared in five games for the Crimson Tide under a temporary restraining order, and made an impact on both ends of the floor.

Alabama’s injury ravaged frontcourt is now thin once again headed into the stretch run of SEC play.

Next up is a trip to Ole Miss on Wednesday.

Roll Tide.
